Happy Easter with active days in Voi

The Selin and Franzén families had the opportunity to speak with 1o of the children in the project. Each day started with a worship service at Bogesunds House, then everyone traveled to the farm where a snack break was waiting.

The children were given exercise clothing from Sweden and the football match was underway. There was even a volleyball match during the evening with the children where both chauffeurs, the pastor, the janitor and the coordinator for the project took part. After the evening match was over, the children from Voi taught a card game to Alfred Alva and Lukas from Ulricehamn.

The evening ended with marshmallow grilling before it was time for bed.

The children woke early on the day before Easter for more football and letter writing to their sponsors in Sweden. The day ended with an Easter egg hunt on the farm before their return trip home where they all received their own backpack, blanket,  and 24 kg of cornmeal. 

– It has been fantastic to see the joy the children have in meeting each other and doing something fun together on the farm. It has brightened our days in Voi, say the Selin och Franzén families.
